Hello gorgeous women, mama’s ✨ It’s been a w Hello gorgeous women, mama’s ✨ It’s been a while and for the past months my attention and energy went into different and more basic places of the foundation we’re living. If you have been following my personal account you might have seen that we decided to homeschool/unschool our oldest daughter. We’re taking some time to find our way into it 😍 We are also very busy with building a community village and finding communal land, designing landscapes and basically bringing loving energy to all of that ❤️

As we are slowly finding our way into all these new changes, I also slowly find some time and space to dive into Motherheart.

When initially starting Motherheart I simply wanted to bring women and mothers together, something I still love and long for but as the world currently operates that became a bit more of a challenge. We’re still finding ways to do this, so if you are interested, stay tuned! I have some wonderful ideas❤️

As you probably have noticed an underlying wish and longing came to the surface with Conscious Conception. Something I really feel needs to be part of life and of the journey towards motherhood. I have many beautiful and powerful ideas around conscious conception but allowing divine timing to bring them to earth 💫

For now I can share that we had 2 wonderful intimate circles on Conscious Conception with @debrakilbyhealing in the past 2 months and we will continue with some more in depth circles around it and something for and with partners too🥰 If you are currently expecting and have a beautiful baby in your belly! We have some good news though. On March 11th Debra will host another Motherheart Circle; Connecting with your baby in womb. An intimate evening with a very small group of pregnant women to learn how to connect with your baby in womb and receive the messages your baby wants you to know. As always, link in bio ❤️ Looking forward to see what the future will bring us. All in divine timing 🤩😅❤️
We’re not always blooming. Sometimes we’re wat We’re not always blooming. Sometimes we’re watering, feeding, healing, growing, processing, receiving, nourishing. Some days we need the dark to do so and other days we need the sunlight. With everything in life, whether you’re running a business or trying to get pregnant, it all has it’s phases. Moments where everything is aligned so we can abundantly receive, abundantly give, abundantly allow the process to unfold naturally. The only thing we “need” to do is learn to #listen
(Part 3/3) ~ Giving birth to Gita ~ Giving birth c (Part 3/3) ~ Giving birth to Gita ~ Giving birth can be messy, powerful, raw, fun, hard work, intens and soft. It can be all of that and more. Giving birth is a bodily experience and it’s our mind and conditioning that mostly gets in the way. Your mind decides how easy or heavy you experience giving birth. Like with everything in life ;) (Prenatal) yoga is therefore so much more than only physical preparation;) Ohhh how I miss teaching yoga these days 😅🤩

Hereby a few more details shortly about the birth;

- my birth team existed of my amazing husband Dennis, our fantastic midwife @daniela_vivevroedvrouw and our sweet maternity nurse/postpartum doula Esther (who attended my first birth too!)
- Dennis was my doula too and I can’t think of anyone else better than him to hold space for me
- I always dreamed about him going into the bath with me and me leaning into him while catching those contractions but during both my births I just needed him as my space holder and I didn’t want to be touched during the contractions and needed that space to hold space for the contractions myself.
- I did want to be touched and massaged in between my contractions a lot though!
- The active birth was about 4 hours.
- My placenta was born super easy with the help of gravity and the bar stool.
- We had a half Lotus birth where the placenta was attached for 2/3 more hours after Gita was born. After that I asked the sweet @gentlebeginningsamsterdam to encapsulate our placenta again ❤️
- We decided a few weeks before her birth to burn the placenta cord for softer transition and separation (with the help of my amazing birth team (as you can see on photo 2. We improvised with some card box and foil as this apparently asks for more preparation than I initially imagined 😅)

I will soon share more on my postpartum and our preparation ✨ Thank you for reading, listening and seeing ❤️
(part 2/3) ~ Giving birth to Gita ~ A few hours in (part 2/3) ~ Giving birth to Gita ~ A few hours in bath and while the pauses between contractions were almost gone I realised I’m at my peak and probably preparing for the next phase: the pushing phase. Something I didn’t know during the first time I gave birth. While I was at the peak and the contractions where still happening the energy slowly started to calm and slow down, I knew this was transition to pushing. Like in life we need to process and transition, always, with everything we do. Processing and creating space for the next.

After some time I felt I was stuck in bath and needed to step out. The moment I stepped out of bath the pushing waves came over me and I felt my body naturally doing the job. The part that was “hard work” was my mind. Truly allowing my baby to go and give my baby the space in this journey of travelling earth side. So I did (with some encouraging words of @daniela_vivevroedvrouw our midwife). 15 minutes later at 1.30 am our Gita was born in her fathers hands while standing at the altar with a photo of Sura close to me. I really wanted to have her there too and apparently she was! (That night at the time I started to push, Sura woke up and seeked comfort in her grandmas arms since she couldn’t fall back to sleep again for about 30 min).

This birth felt raw and sensual at the same time and showed me an innate power I’ve never seen before.
(part1/3) ~ Giving birth to Gita ~ I promised to s (part1/3) ~ Giving birth to Gita ~ I promised to share more of my births and since our 2nd daughter Gita turned 1 today and I have been looking at all her photos yesterday evening, it feels like the right moment to share how this beautiful girl has arrived here on Earth. I’ve written a blog about it 6 months ago (see link in bio) if you would like to read a bit more about it.

Our Gita was born at almost 41 weeks. We didn’t know the exact date since we never did an ultrasound except around week 10 while we were still living in Bali. But the due date wasn’t really clear. I had the wish to have my oldest daughter Sura with me but I also felt I needed some space so we can fully welcome our belly baby. So we decided to bring Sura to my in-laws in the weekend we felt she would probably be born. Which actually happened!

The waves of contractions slowly started to come on and off during the 18th of January. After dinner I felt them coming more frequently and soon our sweet and very great midwife @daniela_vivevroedvrouw arrived to check in. Around 21.30 pm they became active contractions and Dennis started to fill the bath with water. Meanwhile I felt like moving and circling my body a lot. I moved into the delicious warm water and felt the support of the water to catch those waves. While contractions slowly starting to follow up faster I kept moving and circling my body through it, visualising my body was opening and giving him/her all the space to join life on Earth.
Dear beautiful women, how are you doing these days Dear beautiful women, how are you doing these days? The past weeks I felt a longing to really bring some love and attention to my internal journey and spend true quality time and presence with my loved ones. If you have been following me on my personal account too you might have noticed already that I’m so ready to become an active participant in life and to actively create and build the world I want to live in (instead of being a passive waiting one).

The past weeks I’ve received also many beautiful messages from women who have joined and finished our Conscious Conception Program and they have TRULY RECEIVED it in many different forms. I want to share those messages with you too but I also feel (even without name) that energy-wise they belong to them and to us. But hereby a few words, experiences, feelings and thoughts we have received from it;

- It’s such a healing and safe space
- I’ve feel like I’m taking my power back by actively putting my attention towards it
- It’s a healing space of guidance, support and challenging invitation
- I never realised that becoming pregnancy entails all these layers and parts
- It’s a loving and complex way of truthfully welcoming my baby
- No matter the result, I have been giving and getting already so much out of it
- What a powerful way to prepare for pregnancy, I’m ready! I am!

It’s been a little over a year since we have launched our program and with birthing a new baby myself, all the things that are happening world wide I sometimes forget how gentle, powerful, educational and inspiring our program is. Our Conscious Conception Program is still available and you can join the program for €59. If you have any doubts please reach out to me ❤️✨🦋

P.s. @debrakilbyhealing will host an evening on connecting with your spirit baby on Thursday Feb 4th and we have a few spots available. (Link in bio)
